What we offer

Three small things, done with care.

  • 01

    The Kitchen

    Slow food, short menus.

Seasonal menus that change with the markets. Slow mornings, long lunches, the occasional supper.

  • 02

    The Bar

    A small, considered list.

Natural wines from growers we know, a rotating draft beer, and a coffee program built on relationships.

  • 03

    The Room

    Twelve seats and a window.

A small, sunlit space designed for second cups, slow lunches, and conversations that go on a little too long.

A day in the room

Mornings stretch
into afternoons.

We don’t flip tables. The menu shifts with the time of day, the light through the front window changes everything, and the regulars know which seat is theirs.

  • 01

    Morning

Filter coffee, soft eggs, the paper.

  • 02

    Service

    Lunch from 11. Walk-ins welcome.

  • 03

    Evening

Wine, small plates, friends old and new.

  • 04

    Sunday

The kind of meal that takes its time.

Kind words

  • “Quietly excellent.”

    Asheville Citizen-Times

  • “The neighborhood’s best-kept secret.”

    Mountain Xpress

  • “A place that earns its regulars.”
